Wearing gloves for belaying and rappelling keeps your hands cleaner and is substantially safer. Being purpose built I like that they are easy to clip to my harness. Great product and a must have"
"Every time these gloves are available I pick up several pair. I use them for yard work, volunteer work on forest projects and other tasks beside using them to belay and rappel. They are a nice close fit but durability is limited. I put holes in the fingers after just a month of part time work on house or yard projects. Vedauwoo rock or something like Joshua tree granite will wear through them also before long."
