"I have been using BD gear for thirty plus years with no issues. However! This shipment is an embarrassment to the company and the employees that work in the shipping department. I ordered a FirstLight 2 person tent, and was sent half the tent, with 1 pole and just the rain fly!! I have a trip coming up during the holidays, but unfortunately, I will be without the tent that i was looking forward to using. I take pride in using the Black Diamond product. And your gear has been on MANY expeditions in my backyard in the interior of Alaska. So i am very surprised with this shipment and i understand accidents happen. I hope this will not be a common occurrence. Please make this right."
"I bought this so that I would have some space to cook, store equipment and get ready for the day in bad weather. Unfortunately because it just clips on at the top and bottom the wind gets in between the tent and vestibule and fills it with snow and rain making it useless. I would suggest some kind of zip on version or a storm flap with more clip points. . . . would be could if you could zip out the mosquito net on the tent for when you don't need it to save some weight. . my advice to people if your going light and using a first light tent or I tent (they are great tents) just go without the vestibule because if the weather is bad and you really need it ,it won't work anyway."
