Solid Harness

"Use this harness for running canyons. Comfortable to hang in. Plenty of loops. Really like the dual belay loops. Waist buckle is difficult to release. Many times I require 2 extra hands to release it. I don't find that condition enough to knock off a whole star. Maybe 1/2 a star."

Awesome all around

"Great harness for trad and aid. I mainly use it for route development hanging drill and cams. The comfort front hw wideth and padding with heavy gear is ideal for long approaches and long term hanging. Loops are solid and size is good. The only thing that effects the rating in a noticeable way through daily use is the buckle, it is not easy to undue when weighted or when pulled tight. This is the only serous complaint for the harness."

Good by hip pain

"Super comfy harness for all day on the wall. I’ve always had hip when my harness was fully racked, but this harness has been a game changer. No more hip pain and plenty of ruin for gear."

Lighter than the Big Gun

"Lighter than the Big Gun & very helpful for my hip pain"

Pretty good

"Nice for longer days in the harness"

Very comfortable, tons of real estate

"The straps are rather bulky, but that’s the whole point. Full double rack carries comfortably and Isn’t cramped on the five loops. Looking forward to have two belay loops so I can get my belay device and PAS on separate loops."

Poor design for its purpose.

"I’m a little shocked the ratings are as high as they are since myself and most everyone I know has bought this harness and regretted it. I want BD to hopefully address these issues because in my opinion this product is seriously a miss. Issues: -1 releasing the buckle is very difficult to do, much more difficult than on most harnesses. It is nearly impossible to do with a heavy rack on. One of the contributing factors of this is how wide the strap is. I know it is an intentionally overbuilt harness but the straps of both the waist and leg loops are wider than they need to be and add bulk that doesn’t help or as far as I can tell add meaningful durability. 2: I still have marks on my hips from wearing this on a wall a couple of weeks ago. My partners have experienced similar marks from this harness digging into their hips. This is with mostly free climbing racks and not heavy aid racks as well. I am not 100 sure what is causing this but I will say most of the weight does not distribute well on this harness for me and transfers inwards creating two very identifiable pain points at my hip bones. Again I’ve seen this problem on everyone I knows long haul. 3: for being a very big heavy harness this this has weirdly little gear storage on it. Don’t get me wrong I think it makes sense, wall climbing is modernizing towards free climbing and I am more interested in this a a free climbing wall harness, but even as that I felt like I was fully loaded on this thing once I had a jacket, water, draws, misc wall necessities, and a double rack clipped to me. I think the main thing that would help here is extending the front gear loop further forward. 4: here’s some positives -the belay loops are awesome, color is great, and leg loops are really comfortable (I think the stiffness of the foam is better in the legs than body) Like I said this seems like a miss to me as these problems are pretty fundamental in my opinion and I think I’ll be more comfortable in my regular free climbing harness than this on my next wall."

Excited to put it through its paces!

"I got this harness to start pursing longer multi-pitch routes in more comfort as my old harness left me feeling a bit bruised and achy around my waist after spending a whole day in it during my first few multi-pitch practice/learning sessions. So far I have just used it at the gym a few times but it already feels like those pressure points around my waist will no longer be an issue and it has felt good to sit in this harness under load for extended periods. The harness is still a bit stiff from being new but hopefully that goes away with use. I am looking forward to seeing how it handles longer days on the wall once the weather cools down again and allows it."

Solid harness

"This thing is a tank. It's beefy, comfortable, and has a ton of gear loops. Hanging in this thing for a long time is about as good as you can get. The waist buckle is a bit fiddly, but it does seems solid. It just takes a bit more to loosen than other harnesses I've had. But when you're using this on long routes, that's not really a bad thing."

Great quality and design. Excellent

"Great quality and design. Excellent for anything that requires hanging in the harness for work or rescue. Nice balance between comfort, durability and weight."
