Great for Touring

"Great pants for uphill skiing. Stretch is great. Pants are meant to be a little snug. Like others have said, XXL size would sell great giving people on the XL end of sizing the choice between stretch fit and relaxed fit. The material and functionality is why I give these 5 stars."

Love them!

"I've had the dawn patrol jacket for a while and recently got the pants. The pants have the same great softshell material that is stretchy, breathable and highly water resistant. I love the size of the two front zipper pockets where I can keep wallet, keys and snacks. The removable suspenders are handy as well. Like the jacket, on days that are not so cold, they can be worn by themselves or with a light baselayer. On very cold days, I'd probably go with something with insulation."

New fit review

"Just bought these, no time yet on snow, but the fit is great (6’ 4”), so I don’t always find great fitting gear. Trim enough, no excess materiel getting the way, good pocket placement, and love the side vents! Will be great on days with range of temps and conditions. The suspenders also seem to work well, will test in real conditions soon but they fit snug, don’t get in the way and aren’t noticeable. Def looks and feels like solid BD quality, color is slightly different from the pictures but I can live with this."

Great Pants!

"These are my favorite pair of ski pants I’ve worn yet! Being light and regulating heat well, they’re great for the ascent while skinning. Additionally, they were warm and I had zero troubles on the descent. The stretch material is great."

Dawn to Sunset Patrol Pants

"I love these pants. Rare for me to find a pair of ski pants that fit. I'm 5'9" 215lbs. Built like a brick. I bought the XL and put them on and have hardly taken them off. I've used them for backcountry touring, cross country skiing and Fat biking. Soon I'll have them on the resort slopes. T hey are not insulated, which I like so that I figure things out myself. I pair them with long underwear on moderately cold mornings. So far I've not gotten cold or overheated in them but the winter is young. The pockets are well placed. The legs are a bit wide at the bottom but I can live with that as the gaiters fit over my boot no problem. The vent down the thigh is easy to manage with gloves. I actually haven't had a chance to overheat or see how they handle cold and wind in this weird mix of temperature weather in Colorado this year. Comfortable enough I can wear them in the store after the mountain, at home and on a late evening dog walk. Great pants! Thanks!"

New bib who dis?

"A perfect blend between low waisted pants and a high chest “traditional” bib. The best of both worlds."

Daniel S. (5/5)

Perfect fit

"Fit perfect and I wear a 34x34. I’d opt for the more insulated option but this was perfect and give me all the mobility I need"

Spencer R. (5/5)

Great pants! Perfect amount of stretch and durability.

"These pants are awesome. I do a lot of snowshoeing and these pants have the perfect amount of stretch for running trails or scaling hillsides. They are also durable enough to withstand some scraping from branches or rubbing up against a rock or two. They are thinner but allow for layering. The suspenders are great for extra support if you dont want to wear a secondary belt. This is great for when I wear a backpack."

Nathan H. (5/5)

Excellent pants

"My daily driver softshells. Suspenders eliminate any backpack-related sag and aren't noticeable when moving. FIt over boots easily, vents and pockets are well-sized and easy to access. I'd love these in a hardshell with a low bib for powder and wetter days!"

Edward H. (5/5)

Go-to touring pants all winter

"I almost always reach for these unless the weather is absolutely nasty or the snow is incredibly deep. They breathe well, stretch well, have held up to many days of abuse in the backcountry. They are a little snug on my admittedly large snowboard boots, but that's usually an asset setting the skin track on pow days. Also, I love the wide open vents. Outside of spring, they're probably a little light for resort riding without an additional layer, but I don't use them for that."
