"I've been using BD headlamps for near twenty years now. They have only gotten better; lighter, brighter, more efficient. I was so psyched for this rechargeable and lightweight model. I have gone through a village's share of batteries before this moment. I have a habit of using dim mode or red mode to sustain battery life. So for me one full charge lasts weeks. Here is the rub. With new tech gains, BD has overlooked the actual build. Less than six months of use, the hinge no longer stays fixed in upright position. The headlamp body, though not heavy, flops downward for every time I tip my chin down. This totally sucks for all downhill activity. Like much of my beloved gear, my BD headlamp now sports a piece of climbing tape. Dear BD designers, please fix this analog glitch. Thanks."

Reached out to BD for warranty and gave me a 30% coupon code to buy a new headlamp since I didn't have my original receipt. The quality of this headlamp feels very cheap for the price point. Hesitant to buy from BD again."
