It's Okay

"I have used this summer camping as an alternative to a tent. I love that when I move campsites I can just shove the whole thing in my car without having to do any take down. With that being said, if the net was touching my face I definitely got mosquito bites, and I got quite a bit of condensation in the bivy. I have slept in it other times where there wasn't as much condensation, so I'm not sure what is up with that. It does not handle rain well at all. I tried it once while it was raining, but my sleeping bag was getting soaked within a few minutes. So I bailed to sleep in my car. I just used it the other day for winter camping, and while it helped with wind and the cold, it definitely trapped a lot of moisture. Overall, it's a decent lightweight tent to protect against bugs, but not a whole lot else. I'm sad it doesn't handle rain very well."

Great Bivy

"I had the old twilight bivy and upgraded to the spotlight. It’s been awesome, handles water better and more space."

Good buy for the price

"Works well. If I were to re-do this purchase I might consider the BD 1 person tent that compares to this since they are very close in size. But it is very nice for what it is! If you need a bivy, you won't be disappointed."

Lightweight, Not all seams are sealed

"I bought this a few weeks ago for use at work in Colorado instead of using a tent to save space and weight. I set this bivy up in the yard and it seems durable, and pretty quick to setup. It has 3 or 4 stakes that need to be placed in order for it to pop up and keep off your face. It is not freestanding. Very spacious and I like the bug flap. It comes with seam sealer because only the bottom is sealed so you'll have to seal the rest if you want"
