"Black diamond is always a brand I can trust for gear that simply works. When I comes to rain gear I’m not looking a product almost as good as the best for a fraction of the cost. I want the best, and these work and continue to work."
"Purchased these for what was supposed to be a frigid trip in Alberta. They were wonderful Uphilling and backcountry skiing to put over my gloves to keep my hands warm going down. I have used them many times. Ironically they were helpful in Canada when climate change swung the temps from -8 to 35F and we encountered rain. I wore my mountain bike gloves underneath and they helped keep my hands dry from the rain. So helpful in both warmth and cold."
"I have been searching for a simple, yet versatile, pair of waterproof overmitts to have stored in my mountaineering pack. My intention is to wear slightly insulated leather gloves (for snow climbing/general mountain use) and then use this pair to put over those gloves in order to retain more heat or if it's a downpour. These fit perfect! I hear a size large leather glove and the large mitts fit great over top, not too small, and not baggy. I also really like the gauntlet length and cinch cord - features that I rarely see in other brands (which I find odd). They pack down well and are lightweight! Great mitts!"

"YES!!! The number of times I have found myself grateful I brought these with is beyond counting. PNW weather mood swings might mean snow-rain-hail-and sunshine all within hours. These overmitts have kept my main gloves dry, fingers toasty, and ensured my day stayed awesome. Definitely worth the month. I brought my primary gloves with me to ensure I got the right size to fit over them. However, I have worn them with significantly thinner gloves before. The drawstring keeps the over mitt in place without feeling overly cumbersome or loose."
"Excellent patterning, top shelf materials and quality construction. Forty years ago I experienced the most reliable handwear combo ever; a pair of army surplus Nylon shell mittens and thick European wool gloves. No matter how cold it got or how wet the wool gloves got, this combination of shell over-mitt and wool liners kept my fingers warm. In this case the modern membrane traps the warm air. Today, when the wind picks up and the temperature drops on my mountain tours, the Waterproof Overmitts slip over my Tour Pro gloves and I can keep going. Good job, Black Diamond. Keep the dream alive with good, old technology."
"Wore these over leather mitts, hybrid mitts, and glove liners in various conditions including 8 hr days in blizzard. Hands stay dry and much warmer! Size L fit snug over size 10 Hestra mitts. Pretty loose with just glove liners on. Can't speak to durability after only 7 days of use."
