The Aspect Pro is built for missions to the Hulk, big days in the Valley, and high alpine peaks.

Engineered to perform on slabs and vertical terrain, the Aspect Pro has a 3D molded heel, a stiff midsole, and a slightly downturned forefoot. Extra coverage on the toe box provides added durability for crack climbing. A mid-height design provides protection and coverage for ankles in offwidths and chimneys. Finally, the Ecco DriTan™ leather upper is made with a less-water intensive tanning process and the engineered mesh tongue adds breathability.

Reviews

good shoe, personally I prefer

"good shoe, personally I prefer the TC pro as its slightly more versatile and comfortable. the heal on these shoes is better but heal hooks are not the intended use. definitely a very good shoe for outdoor crack climbing."

Slabbin' when holdless

"Nice combination of stick and stiff, two characteristics that are not always found together in the same place and time. Best explanation for this is the flexibility in the mid sole that allows the ankle to twist without disturbing the foot placement. Nice design"

James G. (5/5)

stellar crack, slab, tiny hold shoe. does it all.

"These are legit my first pair of good intermediate shoes, (first pair was scarpa origin) and to be fair these have outperformed my climbing level. I have been able to trust my feet so much more now and everything about them is so well. I ordered M9. 5 and they fit exact size like cinderellas glass slipper. if you preferred them to fit snug maybe just maybe get a size down."

Micah M. (5/5)

I prefer these to tc

"I prefer these to tc pros. Very surprised with the performance of the rubber. Edges and smears great"

Dave g. (5/5)

Great climbing shoe!

"Wow! My new Aspect Pro climbing shoes are great! They are sticky in Little Cottonwood Canyon crags & the gym!"

Billy R. (5/5)

Amazing crack climbing shoes, fit

"Amazing crack climbing shoes, fit my feet really well and keep them protected in foot Jams."

Adrian C. (5/5)

Multi pitch shoes

"Got these as an alternative to the TC pros that fall apart. Love the laces a lot more. Need more laps to gauge the longevity of these otherwise would have confidently given a 5 star review. Time will tell but so far great shoes!"

Dakota S. (4/5)

Really awesome!

"More comfortable for me than TC pros but otherwise basically the same shoe. The laces are really cool and really do feel like they ratchet down."

Connor S. (5/5)

As good as TCs

"I have been using sportiva shoes exclusively for the last 10 years and wanted to try something new. These are very comparable to tc pros. Size up 1 whole euro size to get the correct fit. Provide good protection in cracks and the rubber is on par with vibram offerings. Nice job BD."

Andrew B. (5/5)

These are the go to

"These are the go to for all day comfort on big days tackling big routes where you’ll be encountering everything from technical face, thin cracks, delicate slabs and brutal offwidths. The fit is a little narrow in the toebox, but I wouldn’t call it a slim shoe. It’s just not wide. The size is true to shoe size for me. No need to size up or down. The high top design protects the ankles and stiff sole helps when heal toeing in the wide. The stiff sole also helps with thin edging, especially on older toes with tendinitis and arthritis form years of “experience”. The only con; The high top design funnels dirt and lichen into your shoe. Wish it were higher and able to lace tight around the ankle to keep debris out. An all around great shoe, comfortable and has taken the number 1 spot from its only worthy competitor, the TC Pro. Would definitely recommend."
