Better than ever

"New Expedition 3 Poles entered my life after I accidentally left my 15 year old pair at a ski hill far away. I can tell you these ones are definitely an upgrade. Light and easy to use with a solid, simple design - great for split board touring in the backcountry. Great grip and big powder baskets do the trick, while they collapse quickly for storage on my backpack. See if I can keep these around for a decade or so, can't imagine what you guys will do by then to make improvements. Thanks!"

Fantastic poles. If you value

"Fantastic poles. If you value functionality over hype, grab a pair of these. Still have a pair of the first generation expedition poles after nearly 10 years. Very rugged, fold down small, cool colorway, and the extended grip is a nice upgrade from the OGs. 🤙🤙🤙"

Love these poles! The green

"Love these poles! The green color, functionality, and straps are all great. They are a nice weight. The only issues I've encountered are one of the screws being loose in the adjustment piece which caused the pole to get shorter throughout the day. Also, the pole baskets do not seem to tighten very well and I ended up losing one my second day using the poles."

Pretty Sweet

"These poles are super sturdy and the extended grip is great. Also like how there is an integrated screwdriver to make adjustments!"

Holden B. (5/5)

Faulty and don’t last a season

"Bought these earlier this season and have had terrible experiences. The pole baskets fall off, I lost both of the baskets on this pair of poles and my friend had the same experience. The hardware attaching the pole lengths also fell off resulting in losing the bottom of the pole. Very expensive and I can’t even use them for half of a season, maybe older poles are fine but these ones are terrible. Also you can’t order the hardware unless you are a certified black diamond distributer so I am out of luck."

Best Poles I've Ever Owned

"These are easily the best touring poles I've ever owned. Lightweight, but extremely sturdy and they pack up super compact. I do a lot of back country split boarding where poles are essential are these are top notch. Do yourself a favor and get a pair for yourself."
